zagrebGradski ured za zdravstvo i branitelje povodom obilježavanja "Svjetskog dana zdravlja 07. travnja 2012." organizira tiskovnu konferenciju u četvrtak, 05. travnja 2012. u 11,00 sati, dvorana 372/III u zgradi Gradske uprave, Trg  Stjepana Radića 1. "Svjetski dan zdravlja" obilježava se svake godine pod pokroviteljstvom Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije. Poruka ovogodišnjeg obilježavanja je slogan "Aktivno i zdravo starenje".

Isti upućuje na prioritetne zadaće u zaštiti zdravlja starijih osoba obvezujući sve čimbenike društva, uključujući sva područja, od znanosti do lokalne zajednice uz suodgovornost same starije osobe na sustavan i stalan rad na unaprjeđenju kvalitete života. Krajnji cilj je osiguranje mogućih odgovora za zdravo, aktivno i produktivno starenje.
 

Sukladno navedenom, Gradski ured za zdravstvo i branitelje obilježit će "Svjetski dan zdravlja" nizom događanja koja će se provoditi u vremenu od  05.-25. travnja 2012. Tijek događanja biti će najavljen na tiskovnoj konferenciji, a završit će  proglašenjem "Šampiona/ke zdravlja za 2011." godinu u Gradskoj skupštini, u Ulici sv. Ćirila i Metoda 5.
