Voda - činjenice 1. 75% Amerikanaca je kronično dehidrirano. 2. 37% Amerikanaca ima mehanizam žeđi tako oslabljen, da ga često zamijene za glad. 3. Dehidracija usporava metabolizam za 3%. 4. Čaša vode gasi večernju glad skoro 100%. 5. Nedostatak vode prvi je znak umora. 6. 8-10 čaša vode dnevno otklanja glavobolje kod 80% ljudi koji su skloni glavoboljama. 7. 2% smanjenje količine vode u tijelu može izazvati brisanje kratkotrajnog pamćenja, teškoće s osnovnim matematičkim operacijama, težu koncentraciju kod čitanja ili rada na kompjuteru. 8. 5 čaša vode dnevno smanjuje opasnost od raka na debelom crijevu za 45%, a pored toga i za 79% smanjuje rizik raka na dojki te za 50% smanjuje mogućnost nastanka raka na mokračnom mjehuru. 9.
