Ferdinand Monoyer (9. svibnja 1836. - 11. srpnja 1912.) bio je francuski oftalmolog, poznat po uvođenju dioptrije 1872. godine. Bio je izvanredni profesor medicinske fizike na Medicinskom fakultetu Sveučilišta u Strasbourgu 1871. godine, a kasnije je bio direktor Odjela za oftalmologiju Medicinskog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Lyonu od 1877. do 1909. godine.
