Ove su knjige nagrađene - provjeri zašto! Knjižnice Grada Zagreba, Hrvatski centar za dječju knjigu i Odjel za djecu i mladež Gradske knjižnice organiziraju Nacionalni kviz za poticanje čitanja u Mjesecu hrvatske knjige a rješavaju ga djeca u narodnim i školskim knjižnicama diljem Hrvatske i djeca iz dijaspore.

Tema ovogodišnje manifestacije Mjeseca hrvatske knjige 2012.posvećena je Europskoj godini aktivnog starenja i međugeneracijske solidarnosti. Svečanost otvaranja bit će 15. listopada u Scheierovoj zgradi, Matice hrvatske 4, a popis manifestacija u ostalim hrvatskim gradovima naveden je u Programskoj knjižici. Zajednička akcija svih knjižnica Čitajmo zajedno bit će 23. listopada.
